General Motor has been in the middle of one in the nation's largest controversies more than clean emissions-cars. In 1996 the company launched the EV-1 electric car in California and Arizona ( az ). Hundreds of the electric automobiles were soon on the road. They all faded. The puzzle behind all their disappearance is definitely the subject of the documentary " Who Slain the Electric power Car? " Electric cars had many advantages over their competitors in the early on 1900s. They did not have the vibration, smell, and noise associated with gasoline cars. Changing gears on gasoline cars was the toughest part of generating, while electric power vehicles did not require products changes. Even though the cars seemed to be the next growing trend, they became not so good. There have been a large number of allegations to whom or what happen to kill the electrical car.

In 2150, tragedy struck as almost all EV-1's had been recalled. In 2003, California's zero emissions motor vehicle mandate was killed and General Motor officially sealed down the complete EV-1 task despite the long waiting lists and positive responses from EV-1 drivers. This kind of terrible criminal offense did not move unnoticed by the public. Buyers were outraged by the remembering of EV-1's.
